Here are some films I have made ranging from back in sixth form college all the way up to the present day:
Alex and Mark’s Road to the Olympics
Two young men set out on a trial set to test their wits against the world competing in the 100 Meters sprint, can they secure glory or will they burn out like chariots of fire? A
Short parody film made for St. Mary Redcliffe Sports Dinner with cameos from Teachers of St. Mary Redcliffe and Temple School.
I wrote, produced, filmed and starred in this production that is still shown in assemblies to this day. It was a huge cult/school hit and a huge learning experience for me.
Alex and Mark’s Road to the World Cup
Alex and Mark embark on their toughest journey yet! Can they prove themselves to be good enough to play for their country in the World Cup Finals? Probably not, but that hasn’t stopped them before!
This was a follow up, a year after the release of the first. More of the same capers and fun, more staff cameos.
Breathe Don’t Stop
A music video made during my Media course at the Redcliffe Sixth Form centre in Bristol back in 2005. This is styled in that of the French new wave films. Jump Cuts galore.
When the Arena becomes under attack, only one dark lord of the sith can stop them, Darth Bodd-i. One of three ‘movie trailers’ released along with Alex and Mark’s Road to the World Cup.
Mr. Hally Potter and the Half Height Prince
Mr. Hall, known for his determination even though he is technically a midget – well that’s a lie, but he’s kinda comically short. One of three ‘movie trailers’ released along with Alex and Mark’s Road to the World Cup.
The Adventures of Indiana Murphy and the Valleys of Doom
Jon Jones takes on the role of the brave, yet balding, Welsh adventurer who also happens to teach PE while not stealing relics, but can he survive his quest to acquire the ultimate treasure? …no. One of three ‘movie trailers’ released along with Alex and Mark’s Road to the World Cup.
This was a real experiment and adventure with stock sound effects for comical effect.
This film, ‘Hotel California’ was an experiment in Bad Taste and Great shots. It was one of the first films I made as a team and was such a fantastic experience that I continued to make many, many more!
